JOHN MARTIN
JOHN MARTIN joue du violon, du violoncelle, de l’alto et possède une voix de basse. Il enregistre pour la BBC à l’âge de 14 ans et s’est distingué au sein de Contraband, Ossian et the Easy Club. Il est aujourd’hui l'un des membres les plus actifs de la scène musicale écossaise. Il a enregistré un album solo au violon et „The Braes of Lochiel“ en duo avec Billy Ross. Il est membre du groupe „Tannahill Weavers“.
JOHN MARTIN spielt Fiddle, Cello und Bratsche und ist ein perfekter Bass-Sänger. Viele von euch werden ihn aus den frühen Zeiten zusammen mit der Contraband, Ossian and the Easy Club kennen. Seine erste Aufnahme machte er für die BBC als er erst 14 Jahre alt war. Heute ist er eines der aktivsten Mitglieder der traditionellen schottischen Musikscene. Neben Soloalben hat er zusammen mit Billy Ross auch ein duo Fiddle-Album „The Braes of Lochiel“ aufgenommen. Er ist Mitglied der Band „Tannahill Weavers“.
JOHN MARTIN is playing fiddle, cello, and viola as well as he is singing bass vocals. Many of you will remember him from earlier days with Contraband, Ossian and the Easy Club. He made his first recording for the BBC at the age of 14 and has never looked back. Today he is one of the most active members of the Scottish traditional music scene. He has recorded a solo fiddle album and "The Braes of Lochiel" as a duo with Billy Ross. He is playing with the band « Tannahill Weavers ».
